Absolute Bus Stops of Northern Europe and Beyond
Grab a ticket and climb aboard for a multimedia comedy journey celebrating the overlooked magic, mystery and beauty of bus stops across the UK and beyond. From Clapham Common to a bleak layby east of Düsseldorf and a sun-drenched Norwegian super-shelter, Jim Judges takes audiences on a joyful, strangely affectionate tour of the places where waiting, weather, public transport and human hope collide.
Featuring images, observations, the official Bus Stop Rating System and jokes that may be subject to delays, this show treats the humble bus stop with the seriousness usually reserved for ancient monuments, Michelin-starred restaurants or musicals about Cats.
This is a playful, visual and gently absurd celebration of everyday spaces we normally pass without a second thought. Expect travel, niche expertise, shelter envy and a renewed appreciation for the small architectural wonders at the side of the road. Warning: there may be some bumps in the road!
