The Lambeth Fringe GLITCH awards
The Lambeth Fringe GLITCH awards
The Glitch Awards are a new initiative by The Lambeth Fringe and VAULT Creative Arts. They are a route to support artists performing at The Lambeth Fringe to further grow and develop their work, with an opportunity to bring their show to The Glitch in one of the venue’s headline slots!
HOW IT WORKS
Shows applying to be considered for The Lambeth Fringe have the opportunity to “opt-in” for consideration for the award.
Before The Lambeth Fringe starts, the VCA and Lambeth Fringe teams will review all those shows that opted in, and create a shortlist of up to 10 shows. Each of these shows will be seen by at least one assessor, and the winner, alongside two runners-up will be announced at the end of the Fringe!
WHAT YOU GET
The winning show will get a week-long slot at The Glitch in one of our headline slots. Artists taking these slots usually pay a £500 deposit per week, however, the winner of this award will get the following deal:

- The usual full day of get-in time (on Tuesday), plus an additional full day on Wednesday before your first show, free of charge.
- No up-front deposit.
- A 70/30 split at the box-office (in your favour).
- You will be responsible for providing a technician for your show, if required.
The two runners-up will also be offered:
- A “short-run” at The Glitch. This consists of a “late” 8:30pm show on Weds, Thurs, and Fri, and an additional 5:30pm show on the Friday.
- These will be the 25th to 27th of February, or the 4th to 6th March, 2026
- A free day of rehearsal space in the venue, on the Wednesday before your performance.
- This is usually at a cost of £370 total. Runners up will receive a discount, to do all 4 shows at £200 total.
- You will receive 100% of your box office takings.
- You will be responsible for providing a technician for your show, if required.

- We are looking for shows that are a maximum of 75 minutes long.
- Shows should tell a riveting, engaging story – with a strong preference for unique, untold stories from unhear or under-represented voices.

- We will be looking for shows that are a strong fit for The Glitch’s Artistic Direction –you can read the full Artistic Direction linked here.
