Anisa and India: Little Prescott (WIP)

23 Oct 2025

Anisa and India Little Prescott (WIP)

You’re thrust into a prenatal class. How far along are you? Facilitators Julia and Angela know all about life with a bump. And being alone. They may ask to hold your hand during the pelvic exercises. Gaulier-trained clown duo Anisa and India plunge you into the world of Little Prescott - the village that is too small for its own good, and hands out biscuits to keep you sweet. The reverends are standing too close and the French teachers know too much, but they mean well. This isn’t a show, this is a community. Think a sweaty fever dream, think Hot Fuzz (but women), think a highly confidential town hall meeting.

With clown, character comedy, and dazzling choreography, Anisa and India will have you cackling and squealing with the absurdity of it all. Remember: deep breathing is key for a smooth delivery.

Praise for Anisa and India:

***** 'The physical comedy is immaculate...audience in absolute stitches from start to finish' (Everything Theatre), ***** 'Delightful absurdity' (A Young(ish) Perspective)
