Another Take
Wannabe movie star Danny McIntyre and his ex-girlfriend Emily are compelled back together when cast as reuniting lovers on a television sitcom. Forced to reckon with unresolved emotions and almost relive their entire relationship, they both begin to question whether this meeting was written in the stars or simply written in the script.
‘Another Take’ is an intimate and personal character study with a witty, heartfelt script that ultimately gets at something real. With its meta conceit, writer/director Joe Biddle explores the performance of day-to-day life, male fragility and the love that so often remains.
