Bitch On The Mic
A raw, playful and darkly funny theatre show that cracks open the world of a woman haunted by the voices that told her she was never enough. Blending character work, comedy and storytelling, Jess leads the audience through the chaos of a mind pushed to breaking point and the triumphant return to self.
The show has already had a standout Fringe run, with the entire season selling out, meeting with standing ovations and exceptional, wide-ranging audience reviews. It was also nominated for the International Tour Award, sponsored by Pebble Trust, marking it as a piece with momentum far beyond its debut.
Expect sharp humour, surprising tenderness, a powerful soundtrack, and a cast of unruly inner characters who refuse to stay quiet. The work also shines a light on ADHD and neurodivergent experience, offering both chaos and clarity in equal measure.
Highly relatable - whether or not your are neurodivergent - and gloriously ridiculous, this is a story of shame, transformation and the power of speaking the truth out loud.
At its core, it is a celebration of resilience, rebellion, and what becomes possible when you finally stop believing the inner critic and start taking centre stage of your own life.
