Rennie & White Productions presents 'Cassette '93'
Laced with nostalgia, music, and letters, Cassette '93 tackles different concepts of family, love, and culture.
Cassette ’93 is a new piece of bilingual writing inspired by the lives of real women from Colombia. This nonlinear piece explores the lives of three women across two timelines, each struggling with their own values, identities, and ambitions. But it just might be the 90’s Colombian tape recordings that bring these women together again. Each character grapples with the complexities of identity, grief, & culture; inviting audiences to contemplate the sacrifices of immigrants and how these choices reverberate through future generations.
