Cold Maple Cloth: The Farewell Tour of a Delusional Diva
Who says you have to be successful to have a farewell show? Sydney is a 26 year old failing musical theatre actress, and she is ready to quit! But not without a little attention! She is leaving show business for a “boring, normal person job”... or so she thinks. When an unexpected visitor from her past interrupts her plans, she is reminded of the reason she followed her dreams in the first place, as she rediscovers what is truly important to her, and what makes an artist truly “successful”. A campy musical comedy with a whole lot of heart, Cold Maple Cloth will have you leaving uplifted, inspired, and of course, aching from laughter! Featuring songs from beloved musicals as you’ve never heard them before, this will be an hour you’ll never forget. You might even leave inspired! (Or if not, you’ll leave annoyed, and isn’t art supposed to make you feel something?) All the way from Canada, this show is ready for a smash debut at the Lambeth Fringe!
