We have a fantastic line up of comedy talent for you including James Dowdeswell -possibly one of the most passionate beer loving comedians out there...

James was born and brewed in a West Country pub. As seen on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC) & Ricky Gervais’ Extras & more , “A real master of the comedian’s craft.” - Chortle.co.uk  plus Lateef Lovejoy  'One of the hottest talents on the comedy circuit' (Theatre Royal Press), BAFTA award-winning comedian Sarah Mills ( “She’s very funny” - Dara O Briain) plus brilliantly bonkers Cheekykita, Glaswegian gagsmith Currer Ball plus Special Guest TBC providing the lols , all hosted by your cheeky charming host & MC Sion James in a friendly cosy atmosphere of the South London gem that is Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom.

James Dowdeswell

James Dowdeswell, as seen on “Russell Howard’s Good News” and “Ricky Gervais’ Extras” shares his passion for the funny side of Beer. James was born and brewed in a West Country pub. He is the author of “The Pub Manifesto: A Comedian Stands Up For Pubs” published by CAMRA. James's Fringe shows include " Beers of a Clown" , " Perfect Pub" and superb pun titled "Wine , Ale & I"“I have known James for 20 years and his pub stories are the stuff of legend.” - Russell Howard“A real master of the comedian’s craft.” - Chortle 

Lateef Lovejoy

Lateef Lovejoy is one of the UK's finest young comedy actors and even starred in The Dark Knight.'Looked like a wacky Eddie Murphy with an Afro as he confidently charmed the audience with his unique satire' (African Times).'His multi-faceted skills are sublime' (Time Out Magazine) 'Britain's answer to Jamie Foxx' (Flavour UK).

Sarah Mills
BAFTA award-winning comedian who has performed all over the UK and abroad.  High energy, optimistic and with an absurd take on the world around her, Sarah is living proof that good things come in small packages. “She’s very funny” - Dara O Briain. Sarah recently landed her debut Radio 4 series!
