Cycle / 年轮
Cycle / 年轮 is an immersive physical theatre piece that explores the deep-rooted connection between humans and nature, reflecting on the cycles of transformation in the world around us and within us. Inspired by the Chinese seasonal calendar, it invites audiences on a sensory journey through movement, sound, and storytelling.
"For nature is us, and we are she,
A cycle, a rhythm, an eternal stay."
Cycle / 年轮 explores the ebb and flow of growth, struggle, and renewal, revealing how our lives mirror nature’s ever-changing patterns. It invites audiences to embrace change, find peace within change, and reconnect with the wisdom of the earth—reminding us that we are not separate from nature but part of its endless rhythm. Through Cycle / 年轮, we aim to foster a shared ritual that allows audiences to slow down, reconnect with natural rhythms, and consider their own relationship with climate responsibility—leaving not just with an intellectual understanding, but with a felt, embodied sense of connection and care.
