"Why does waking from dreams feel strangely empty?"
Dreams are at once deeply personal, universal, and solitary. Yet, no dream begins, unfolds, or ends entirely alone.
Dreammaker (梦人) is a bilingual physical theatre performance inspired by the raw testimonies of everyday dreams. Blending dynamic movement, mime, lyrical voiceover, and cinematic montage, the piece constructs a constantly shifting dreamscape. Audiences are invited to wander through a labyrinth of memories, sudden pauses, and lingering traces—fully immersed in the profound vulnerability and absurdity of the dreaming mind.
Dreams are born from unfinished relationships and emotions that never found their language; they are the afterimages of what keeps walking, on and on, even when forced to walk alone.
Dreams do disappear. Yet, they vibrate on.
At its heart, this is a theatre experience about companionship. Where dreams cannot be shared, a dreammaker is always there. Or perhaps we are each other’s "dreammakers".
