EYES SEE SONG

EYES SEE SONG

A dynamically immersive dive into the poetic world of women, Chorale Poetique transform the everyday, the every-space and the ordinary into the extraordinary as they draw us into the hidden recesses of a woman’s hopes, wishes, and dreams.

“Who am I when I dream out loud? What changes when I live a dream? “

Through poetry, theatrical vignettes, song and choral movement the ensemble seduces, enchants and challenges audiences into engagement, reflection and song.

“Come now! You are the choir. Your every note affects our sound.”

The ensemble asks: “Who do we belong to and how does our joy reshape the world?”

The hidden, the unsaid, and supressed corners of female experience merge into healing dance with the joyous, the heart warming, the splendour and power of womanhood as Chorale Poetique deliver a uniquely somatic storytelling experience.

“Your laughter, your tears, your rage and your judgement are all welcome – every part of you makes us whole. One cannot exist without the other and so together we go... ”
