FIASCO
Based off of the hit tabletop role play game of the same name by Bully Pulpit Games, Fiasco is a fully improvised show investigating a fictional archive and the dark tales it contains. Every performance, with the help of the audience, three players will explore a new story, guided by the Head Archivist; stories filled with brutality and intrigue, rage and desire, and a tangled web of threads will combine with unfortunate circumstances to create... well, quite the fiasco. Fiasco is the debut show from Cryptids Improvisational Theatre. Founded in 2024 by international alumni from East 15 Acting School, Cryptids Improv is devoted to elevating the art of improvised theatre by venturing into the unknown and unknowable. The current run of Fiasco will be performed by co-founders Annamarie Burke and Alexandra Sophia Ashe, along with Cristiano Benfenati, I. Chapman Black, Shelby Corley, Natalie Haven, Kate Oswald, Manuela Roldán, and Hanna Waldman, with intimacy coordination from Liz Kent and combat choreography by Cristiano Benfenati.
