Irish Storytelling for Children

Join storyteller Neysa Killeen for a relaxed sharing of Irish folklore for children. Including legends like Oisín in the Land of Youth and other weird and wonderful tales of magic and courage, these stories will delight and inspire children and their grown-ups. Neysa Killeen is an Irish storyteller, writer, actor, and producer based in Manchester. Her one-woman show, Questions of Travel, debuted at the Greater Manchester Fringe in 2024. As a child, she loved listening to local storytellers and these memories have inspired her to become a storyteller herself. She is excited to share her favourite tales as part of Lambeth Fringe., following a successful run of performances at the Greater Manchester, Watford, and Buxton Fringe festivals.

The Front Room at Vauxhall City Farm is a bright, airy space with full-length windows overlooking the café terrace (with a capacity of 48)—ideal for daytime performances, workshops, and intimate shows. Situated right next to the on-site café, the space can be expanded into a larger open-plan area for bigger events by opening up the adjoining wall, offering great flexibility for Lambeth Fringe performers.

Vauxhall City Farm is one of London’s most loved urban farms, nestled just minutes from Vauxhall station. Known for its welcoming community feel, it offers a unique blend of rural charm and urban accessibility. Hosting a show here means being part of a lively, inclusive environment that brings together creativity, community, and a touch of the countryside in the heart of the city.
