Jane Air

JANE AIR is an uplifting one-woman comedy about second chances, Air Guitar, and finding the courage to turn the volume back up on your life. Jane Little is 45, works as a school dinner lady and feels stuck in a rut. At home she's taken for granted and her teenage daughter finds her mortifying simply for existing. Still haunted by the betrayal and heartbreak she suffered on her sixteenth birthday, Jane can't shake the feeling that her life has never recovered. Then she discovers competitive air guitar. Reinventing herself as the fearless "Jane Air", she embarks on a journey from obscurity to Air Guitar Championship Contender. But to reach the top, Jane must face more than the competition. Old wounds, lost dreams, long-buried memories and family embarrassment stand between her and the Airness she's been searching for all her life.

Packed with humour, heart and classic rock spirit, JANE AIR is a feel-good celebration of resilience, self-discovery set within the theme that it's never too late to become the person you were always meant to be. Because sometimes the biggest comeback of all starts with an imaginary guitar!
