Kayla MacQuarrie: "Stand-Up" (WIP)
Kayla MacQuarrie (Space for Laughs winner) is a wheelchair using full-time unregulated nuisance on a mission to make people laugh at her constant pain. Kayla wasn't always like this, her show explains how she ended up here through storytelling comedy blending the personal and the absurd. It's a show about literally rolling with the punches, from the "hilarious and genuinely touching" comedian, it's about coming to terms with chronic pain and life as a wheelchair user. It's a unique perspective on life, a topic people find interesting but are scared by, and the audience will be led through by a comedian who refuses to take this seriously.
