Venue: The Bread & Roses Pub - John Burns Room (Garden Room)

The John Burns Room (Garden Room) of The Bread & Roses pub is a flexible and intimate space ideal for comedy, spoken word, live music, and cabaret. With its relaxed atmosphere and cosy beer garden, it offers a welcoming setting for both performers and audiences.

The Bread & Roses Pub is a unique, independent grassroots music venue with deep community roots. Owned by the Battersea and Wandsworth Trade Union Council and run by the Workers Beer Company, it is the UK’s only trade union-owned pub—reflecting a proud history of activism, inclusivity, and support for the arts.

Upstairs in the same building is the acclaimed Bread & Roses Theatre, home of the Lambeth Fringe, making the building a key part of the festival’s creative hub.
