Nearly Non-Fiction

27 - 28 Sept 2025

Italia Conti Ensemble present Nearly Non Fiction

As part of the Lambeth Fringe, fifteen Italia Conti students are performing their five minute solo-story pieces that they have written and directed themselves. Each one is based, in some way, on a true story from their own life - an embarrassing moment, a right of passage, a memory that has shaped them today. The only rule? They can’t use anything on stage except a chair. No sets, no extravagant costumes. Just them, their words, and the way in which they’ve chosen to tell their story. The result is a mix of funny, moving, surprising and honest performances that reflect a wide range of voices and experiences. Each piece is completely different, shaped by the actor behind it. It’s a simple format, but it creates space for something really personal - and really engaging. Come and support these young artists as they share their original work in a way that’s stripped-back, thoughtful, and full of heart.
