Owned by the Battersea and Wandsworth Trade Union Council and run by the Workers Beer Company, it is the UK’s only trade union-owned pub—reflecting a proud history of activism, inclusivity, and support for the arts.
Upstairs in the same building is the acclaimed Bread & Roses Theatre, home of the Lambeth Fringe, making the building a key part of the festival’s creative hub.
