Reasonable Crash Out

Love is only available for hot people...? L Cube presents a queer "love" story told in a East and Southeast Asian narrative, discussing dating, relationship and self esteem.

Ling thought love was just one glow-up away. After being rejected by her crush, she blamed her unattractive body and was determined to change her body. But after her transformation, the rejection came again - and this time, it hit deeper. Maybe the problem isn’t on the outside, but something within: if she can’t love herself, how can she receive love?

Reasonable Crash Our is a raw, tender, and darkly funny journey of self-worth, body image, and the messy road to self-acceptance. Inspired by the playwright’s personal fitness journey, the play examines the emotional aftermath of rejection and the pressures of self-improvement culture. With a mix of sharp wit and emotional honesty, it speaks to anyone who has ever questioned their worth or battled with self-love.
