The Big Cheese

10 - 11 Oct 2026

The Big Cheese

by Kaur Anne Productions

A brand new comedy original created by Bylli Gomez and brought to the stage by a fantastic ensemble cast of actors. ‘The Big Cheese’ is a chaotic, raw and fiercely funny comedy-drama following the life of a woman who plays by her own rules.

Bee is a failed artist in her 30s who is broke and living at home with her overbearing mother. Between her perfect best friend and her perpetually-unimpressed boyfriend, Bee feels the pressure to get her life on track. Determined to get a job at any cost, she claws her way into a trial shift at a posh cheese shop.

Victory! How hard can it be to sell a bit of cheese and land the job?

What begins as a courageous hustle soon spirals into a chaotic, farcical disaster involving a wheel of parmesan, an alcoholic relapse, and a spiral into despair. Audiences can expect a smart, fast-paced, hilarious romp brought to life by it’s delightful cast of characters.
