The Unexpected Depth to the Grief Felt by Goats

by Confabulation Theatre

Inspired by a Nan’s conflation of a Black & White film and a Red Bull advert, Confabulation Theatre present their debut play: The Unexpected Depth of Grief Felt by Goats,

After the unexpected death of their mentor, two, young-ish, men find themselves managing both the family funeral business and the old man’s final farewell. With the financial realities of being business-owners in the dying industry dawning on them both, fight and flight find new personifications as we watch two friends figure out how to get out of the hole they’ve found themselves in without digging any deeper.

There’s always a couple of characters at a wake, and with a cast of four; that’s all we can afford. So come celebrate the life of Old Man Proctor and if you see, hear or smell anything you shouldn’t have, you can take it to the grave.
