What happens when someone refuses to accept the world as it is? Claire Archer dreams of creating a new plant like nothing nature has ever produced. Her fierce pursuit of originality challenges herself and those around her, forcing them to confront ideas of ambition, freedom and identity.
Written in 1921, The Verge is a high-pressure drama moving between moments of humour, tension and emotional intensity. This modern interpretation reveals the play as an exploration of female rage, ambition and the cost of refusing to conform.

Network Theatre is a community theatre space in the underground railway arches of London Waterloo station.
Run by the volunteers of the resident Network Theatre Company, they produce their own productions of contemporary and classical theatre and provide a unique location for visiting theatre companies and events.
Network Theatre will be joining The Lambeth Fringe for 2025 with unmissable new writing.
