Virtually There
Stand by and strap in! Join us for the global product launch of the XLRealityUltimate, the last word in virtual reality systems. Experience high-speed chases, all action shoot’em ups and rollicking roleplays - all in High-Definition crystal clarity. Nothing could go wrong! Could it? Conceived in Lockdown and nurtured by our continuing obsession with digital technology, Virtually There explores the tension between our fantasy lives and our reality, who we’d like to be and who we really are. Using poetry, song and a large helping of silliness while mixing Shakespeare, classical philosophy and bangin’ choons, it is a heartfelt plea for the primacy of human contact.
Virtually There is written and performed by Stewart Taylor, comedy poet and former national Anti-Slam winner whose previous show Spillage received a five star review when presented at the Brighton Fringe - ‘Taylor is a fabulous physical performer’ Simon Topping, Reviews Hub.
This show marks Virtually There’s London debut prior to further performances next year. ‘He captivates audiences effortlessly and the text exudes both lyricism and talent.’ Anita Foxall, in-common.co.uk
