Do we ever truly understand one another?
A bilingual play in three acts transforms the language barrier into a stage for unlikely encounters. A delayed train reconnects two strangers from the past, a Duolingo lesson exposes cracks in a relationship, and a Love is Blind pairing reveals a unique connection. Is speaking the same language enough to understand each other? Or are there truths that only exist in silence? Portuguese actor Carolina Garção and American actor Alexander Wardach return to London to ask these questions and expose precisely what is lost - and what is gained - when language fails.
Inspired by the myth of the red thread, which connects two people destined to meet, even if they don't speak the same language, this is a show about the human effort - fallible but moving - to reach out to one another.
