Venue: White Bear Theatre

White Bear Theatre

The White Bear Theatre was founded by Michael Kingsbury in 1989 and has helped develop some of the countries leading theatre makers including Joe Penhall, Sharon Horgan and Dennis Kelly. It has also hosted work by a new generation of practitioners including Ruby Thomas, Poleroid Theatre, The Ugly Sisters and Martha Watson Allpress.

The White Bear is joining The Lambeth Fringe in 2025 with a programme of exciting new theatre. Enjoy pre & post-show drinks in the stylish White Bear bar and garden. Theatregoers also get 10% off food by simply showing their ticket or digital confirmation!

Please note this is an ‘umbrella venue’ -the shows have already been programmed as part of the Lambeth Fringe and this space is therefore not available for artists to apply to.
