Jamie Byrne's Delightful History of Cigarettes
Have you ever been to a university lecture and worried that something just didn’t seem normal? Well at Jamie Byrne’s Delightful History of Cigarettes, you can be sure that something isn’t normal! Jamie will guide you from the invention of God’s favourite cylinder to the modern day, where cigarettes are threatened by smoking bans, vaping and some other third thing. All while this is going on, Jamie will be giving a futile effort to keep his job at the university.
This is a surreal and silly show that has been variously described at times as “the funniest thing I’ve seen in years” and “incredibly stupid”.
