[no] good grief
[no] good grief is a participatory performance that implicates the audience in the premature burial of Cerulean. It explores themes of death with reverent silliness, neatly gift wrapped and adorned with a party hat.
You are a necessary participant in the sad (we are all very sad to hear about the) passing of Cerulean. As you begin to comfort and mourn the “recently deceased”, you are asked to consider the conditions that have led to their death. We will not die equal and Cerulean is prepared to go out kicking and screaming.
Exploring themes of Morality, Queerness and Care from the perspective of a Trans, working class performer who is certain they will die (if not now then) soon. This is a show for people who may one day die.... oh, wait, that's everyone.
Thank you for coming and I’m sorry for your loss.
Previous Mourners/Participants have said:
“Beautiful to watch and even more so to be a part of.”
“A perfect representation of what it is like to be Trans right now”
“Poignant but light-hearted”
